firstdate and adddate function

Hello,

This is my DAX function. It run the correct value:

Start biomass = calculate ([Total Biomass], FIRSTDATE(factKPI[Date ID]))

But i would like to calculate "Total Biomass" in previous date, here is my function:

Start biomass in previous date =calculate ([Total Biomass], DATEADD(FIRSTDATE(factKPI[Date ID]),-1,DAY))
Then it always show the blank value. Eventhough i already filter the correct date.

Could you please help me to check it.

thank you!

@HangTran you should add a calendar table in your model and perform time intelligence calculation using the calendar table. It will make everything super easy and it is the recommended method. You can fix your measure like this

previous date =calculate ([Total Biomass],ALL(), DATEADD(FIRSTDATE(factKPI[Date ID]),-1,DAY))

Would appreciate Kudos 🙂 if my solution helped.
