I have this measure created to calculate the occurences of a value across the dataset. I have a date column in the dataset as well. If i wanted the measure to count occurences by MONTH, how would i edit this? Or is there a better way to do that?

Hi @thampton
Try something like this:
Column =
CALCULATE(
COUNT('Table'[Client_ID]),
FILTER('Table',
'Table'[Month]=EARLIER('Table'[Month])),
FILTER('Table',
'Table'[Client_ID]=EARLIER('Table'[Client_ID])))
Hi @thampton
Try something like this:
Column =
CALCULATE(
COUNT('Table'[Client_ID]),
FILTER('Table',
'Table'[Month]=EARLIER('Table'[Month])),
FILTER('Table',
'Table'[Client_ID]=EARLIER('Table'[Client_ID])))
@thampton , like
Occurences = COUNTX(FILTER('Table',month(EARLIER('Table'[Date]))=month('Table'[Column])),'Table'[Column])
Add column if needed
Occurences = COUNTX(FILTER('Table',EARLIER('Table'[Column])='Table'[Column] && month(EARLIER('Table'[Date]))=month('Table'[Column])),'Table'[Column])
@thampton - I would create a new calculated column like:
Month = MONTH([Date])
Then you can put Month in a visual and just use a standard count aggregation on any other column.
