change the field type from text to numbers on some columns but it gives me error in columns

Hi I'm new to powerBI and I'm trying to change the field type from text to numbers on some columns but it gives me error in every field of those columns when I do it.. any idea why ? it just says Error in yellow in every field of the affected column

Click the error cell (next to the error text) and it will display the error on the bottom. I think error might be to do with the import data type format in the data source.

thanks working now as i've imported using excel and didn't change.
