Is there a calendar table that can be used directly?

What I don't understand is why I need a gateway for a table that is generated in dax, that is, no data is taken from any server

It is caused that calculated tables are not supported in DirectQuery mode. You could reference the document : Using DirectQuery in Power BI to learn more limitations about it.

For data sources other than Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Data Warehouse and Redshift that use DirectQuery, an On-premises data gateway must be installed and the data source must be registered to establish a data connection. Due to your storage mode is dual mode (import & direct query), the report need to match a gateway.
