It is caused that calculated tables are not supported in DirectQuery mode. You could reference the document : Using DirectQuery in Power BI to learn more limitations about it.

For data sources other than Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Data Warehouse and Redshift that use DirectQuery, an On-premises data gateway must be installed and the data source must be registered to establish a data connection. Due to your storage mode is dual mode (import & direct query), the report need to match a gateway. What I don't understand is why I need a gateway for a table that is generated in dax, that is, no data is taken from any server
