Write back in Power BI

Hello experts,

Do I need a Power BI premium license to integrate powerApps with Power BI and implement the write back function?

FYI, my source is SQL database server.

There's no such thing as a Premium license.  You probably ment a Pro license.  If you have a Premium capacity then your report consumers don't need a pro license etc.

Anyway,  technically a Pro license is not required on the Power BI side if you are the only user of that report located in your personal workspace.  You do however need to have an O365 license that includes premium connectors for PowerApps since you are connecting to SQL Server.
