Working with Quick Measures

I have been working on what should be a simple quick measure for hours, and need help

I have a list of staff and and projects.  I want to see the AR Total for only the staff selected but it continullay show me the AR total on my card

This is the measure I created but it doesn't appear to work

AR Balance total for Staff =
CALCULATE(SUM('Table1 (2)'[AR Balance]), ALLSELECTED('Staff'[Staff]))

Can anyone help?

this is my new measure

AR Balance total for File Holder =
CALCULATE(
    SUM('AR Data'[AR Balance]),
    ALLSELECTED('Projects'[File Holder])
)

Hi @Donnajones ,

Could you please provide some sample data(exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with special examples and screenshots. It is better if you can provide me a simplified pbix file. Thank you.

Client ID is the relationship.  There is no Staff in the AR table

@Donnajones what is the relationship between table that contains AR data and the Staff table?
