Visual to highlight background image with transparency option

Dear All,

I am looking for a visual which i can use to highlight part of image at the background. visual should support transparency fuction so that it should show the background image as well.

scenario: I have two fields to visualize. 1. Downtime 2. Machine Group

I wanted to highlight machine ground depending on the downtime. if it is high should be more RED and if low should be transparent.

Thanks

Yasir

Hi, @yasirsd

Based on your description, I assume that you want to change the transparency based on the selections of a slicer. The pbix file is attached in the end.

Table:

You may create a measure as below.

Result = SUM('Table'[Value])

Then you may set background color as below.

Result:

c4.pngc5.png

Best Regards

Allan

Hi @yasirsd

If you could supply a rough image indicating the kind of thing you are after that would help.  You might just need to use conditional formatting.

Phil

Hi @yasirsd ,

Not really sure if I understand what is your need when you refer to highlight the image, but from your data description seems to me that you want to have a "factory plant" with all you machines and then highlith the ones wiht downtime.

the best option is the Synoptic Panel by OKViz you can customize the SVG on the site SYNOPTIC DESIGNER FOR POWER BI  and then use it on your report.

Miguel Félix
