Using a switch or if statement for different conditions

I would like to create a measure that categorizes the "running total spend" column by  "Contribution type"

Capture.PNG

Running Total amounts less than 750k should be considered - Contribution 1

Running Total amounts greater than 750k  should be considered– Contribution 2

Running Total amounts greater than 1.5M should be considered – Contribution 3

I think I can a accomplish with the switch function. anyone have thought on how i can accomplish this

Try this, you can also use SWITCH,

Contribution =

VAR RT = [Running Total] RETURN

IF(
    RT < 750000,  "CONT1",
    IF( RT > 1500000,  "CONT3",
    "CONT2"
)
)
