Using PowerShell to check if a Power BI file is damaged

Hello everybody,

we would like to check with PowerShell if a local Powe BI report is damaged or not.

We mean by "damaged" that you receive the following error when you try to open the report:

(Document cannot be opened - Report cannot be opened. The file is either encrypted or damaged.)

Is there a way to do this?

With best regards

@SettlerOfCatan , Try to publish it using power shell, if it fails, it might be corrupt

https://powerofbi.org/2021/01/27/powershell-script-to-publish-power-bi-reports/

the problem is that the customer does not have any Power BI related online service.
