Users can't see embedded powerbi report on SharePoint online site? Grant Access?

Hi,

I Embedded a PowerBi dahboard onto a sharepoint site last week and everyone in my business could see the Dashoboard. However, now when people go to the sharepoint site the dahboard has dissapeared and it says "It looks like you don't have access to this report. Ask the report owner to share it with you. (Request Access)".

Why did users previously have access to my report but now they don't? everyone in my buienss has a pro license. Employees can view other peoples dashboards on other shareponit sites - but everything I publish now need grant access....even though previously it didnt?

Has anyone come across this problem before?

Hi @DynamicsHS ,

Users need permissions to both Power BI and SharePoint to view the content you embed on SharePoint.

If you have multiple reports and dashboards to share, you can package them into an app and publish them directly. When publishing, a link will be generated and you can share the link directly with others. When you share the app to specified users or groups, check the parameter "Install this app automatically" to automatically install the app for them.

If you just want to share a report , there is no need to publish it as app , you can share the report directly in Service . For specific operations, please refer to the following link.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-share-dashboards

if you still want to embed the report to SharePoint , you can refer to the links below.
