I am just not able to get around this!
On the left and right of my PBI desktop page a lot of real estate is unusable because, i just cannot get it removed to utilize the entire realestate of the page. Because of this the reports on service look the same and have a lot of realestate unused.
I am using the default 16:9. How do i get around this/fix it ?

Hi,
First you go to view option and page layout to "Fit to width" and then go to the property visualisation pane and then go to page size and select custom and accordingly set height and width of the page. So now you can utilise entire.
Hi, @Anonymous
The default display view is Fit to page and the default display size is 16:9. If you want to lock in a different aspect ratio, or want to fit your report in a different way, there are two tools to help you: Page view settings and Page size settings.
For more details ,please refer to this document Apply page display settings in a Power BI report.

@Tahreem24 there
was a little back and forth but then i got it by "fit to width" and then setting up a custom "page size".
Cheers !
That is an artifact of your screen size. The dashed lines show you what your page size are. To change the page size:
