I am unable to copy the filtered/original data from the data view in my power bi file. Also I have recently updated my power bi version to March 2024. Please help.
Hey @namangarg55 ,
I can confirm that with the latest release the "Copy table" stopped working for me.
I recommend that raise an issue.
Regards,
Tom
Hey @namangarg55 ,
the below screenshot shows the result of copying data from the data view to Visual Studio Code and Excel:
If I remember correctly it's not possible to copy if the filtered table contains more than 3000 cells, here cells is importatnt. Maybe this limit prevents you from pasting the data into another application..
Regards,
Tom
I am taking only two rows as output, and that also is not copying. I guess this might be due to latest version update
Hey @namangarg55 ,
I have filtered a table in the data view, then I use the command "Copy table" from the context menu:
Then I can use "Enter data" to paste the data from the clipboard to a new table.
Hopefully, this helps to tackle your challenge.
Regards,
Tom
