Hi Community,
I'm trying to create a date slicer base on Leila Gharani tutorials, not sure if its due to Power BI updates changes.
My screen is like this below. I can't find any settings to change the date settings.
Can advise how do I change the settings?
Thank you!
Hello @joshtech ,
you can create a year column based on the date column,
create a new column and paste the following measure
Year = YEAR('YourTableName'[date])

Hi, @joshtech
check your data type of date column
if it TEXT type then it give likw below(as your problem with date column)
so change date column data type to date/time as below figure
and you get what you want.
changing data type from text to date/time it give Date hierarchy like below
