Hi,
I am using a card to measure value and then tooltip to break down measure into 2 categories.
When the value of the card updates using 5 min change detection of importdatetime column, the tooltip for the category breakdown does not update. Have tried applying change detection in service and on desktop file as well as testing in 3 different browsers and same issue.
Performance analyzer shows no issues with tool tip performance.
Having to use card and reference labels as alternative now.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi @Albie
It's important to note that default tooltips in Power BI might not always reflect dynamic content changes immediately, especially when tied to complex interactions like change detection. For more control over tooltip content and its refresh behavior, consider creating tooltips based on custom report pages. This approach offers better flexibility and ensures that the tooltips can be updated more reliably.

Regarding the change detection mechanism you're using, it's designed to refresh visuals on a page based on detecting changes in the data rather than a specific refresh interval.

Ensure that the tooltip is configured correctly to display the breakdown categories. If you're using a custom tooltip (based on a report page), double-check the data fields and filters applied.
Confirm that the change detection is properly set up for both the card and the tooltip content. It might be necessary to explicitly define the change detection measure for the tooltip content if it's based on a different logic or dataset.
