The parameter not referred in the query

 I have created a calculated field in a paginated report but when i try to use the new calculated field as a parameter i get this error.  i cant seem to find a way to fix the error message . does anyone have a suggestion?

Your parameters may not be set incorrectly.

I looked at this but its not what is causing my issue- the error message looks like what you are point me to but my isssue seems unrelated to this thread you are pointing me to
