is there any way to switch between hierarchies using a slicer?

Try field parameters:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/power-bi-field-parameters
They work with individual dimensions within hierarchies, now that you ask I'm not sure you can switch entire hierarchies in one click which I guess is what you're really going for. That's an interesting use case!
