I am trying to calculate the sum of averages. The average comes from the total of other measures. I have tried summarize, sumx, averagex, but i am not having any luck. I have put the salesSum in place for now.
Here's the measure:
SalesSumAvg =
VAR nonblank =
IF ( ISBLANK ( [Sales1yrAgo] ), 0, 1 ) + IF ( ISBLANK ( [Sales2yrAgo] ), 0, 1 )
+ IF ( ISBLANK ( [Sales3yrAgo] ), 0, 1 )
+ IF ( ISBLANK ( [Sales4YrAgo] ), 0, 1 )
VAR AVERAGEnoNbLANK =
CALCULATE (
DIVIDE ( [SalesSum], nonblank, 0 ),
PeriodsTime[CalYear] = YEAR ( UTCTODAY () )
)
RETURN
IF ( HASONEVALUE ( PeriodsTime[WeekDay Number] ), AVERAGEnoNbLANK, [SalesSum] )
Here's the table.

I am trying to get the sum of each weekday sales sum average. So the total number should be 5717080.88 instead of 20 million.
Hi @dataSeeker ,
To be more helpful, could you share your sample data and the formula so that I could copy and have a test on it?
Best Regards,
Cherry
I have created a sample file with the pertinent info in it. SalesSumAvg is the measure that i am trying to work on.
Salessum.pbix
My model has a lot of other data that i can't share. Let me see if i can get a sample file built.
