Subtotal Error - Matrix

Hi PowerBI Community,

I am putting together a simple matrix table that compares actuals to budget.  When I create a matrix table all of the subtotals and grand total equal in each column.  This is the dax measure I am using for the first column "acutals":

Acutals = CALCULATE(
SUMX('DataLoad-Wando Fiancials',
'DataLoad-Wando Fiancials'[ConvertedValue]),'DataLoad-Wando Fiancials'[Iteration] = "Actual",'DataLoad-Wando Fiancials'[Cost Type] <> "Ad Hoc")

Below is the matrix.  As you can see, all the subtotals and grand total equals 87,299.  I assume there is an error with my dax formula.

Thanks,

Tim

Hi @tgibble

This has to do with the context you have, you need to place the filters inside the total sum you need and not in the SUMX try the following code:

Actuals =
SUMX (
    'DataLoad-Wando Fiancials',
    CALCULATE (
        SUM ( 'DataLoad-Wando Fiancials'[ConvertedValue] ),
        'DataLoad-Wando Fiancials'[Iteration] = "Actual",
        'DataLoad-Wando Fiancials'[Cost Type] <> "Ad Hoc"
    )
)
