How can I create a stacked bar chart where the total assets (i.e. 10) represnets the full bar, and then broken down by the subcategories of the assets( i.e. 4 and 6).
When I do this, the resulting total is not accurate, it's as if Power Bi is adding 4+6+10, and not 4 and 6 is part of the 10.
Any help with this please?

Another option would be to use the Line and Stacked Column chart.
Your sub-categories are your column values and your [Total Assets] would be the line value. You can set Line Width to 0 to show only the Markers representing the Total Assets.
