Sorting the slicer by defining the Position

Hi,

Need help on this:)

i have slicer with the values as below:

America (c)

Eroupe (a)

United Staes (b)

Here the catch is i need to sort by the values present in the Brackets(), but present sorting as happen on the names of the countries. Expected result should be as follow:

Eroupe (a)

United Staes (b)

America (c).

Could any one please suggest any way to achieve this. Thanks!

HI @Anonymous,

You can create a new calculated table with extract raw field values and custom index values, then set up 'sort by column' properties based on the 'index' value.

After these steps, link to a table field and use new table field to create a slicer, the new field 'sort order' will be changed to your index values.
