I want to sort one column based on measure. The problem is that the measure involves parameters in its calculation. Hence while creating calculated column it gives circular dependency error. Because of this sort by another column functionality cannot be used.
Any ideas how to solve this ?
Hi @aniket_kumbhar ,
You want sort visual or sort table? If you want to sort visual, then what visual you are using?
Please check the topic about How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly and share more information.
Best Regards,

@aniket_kumbhar , You can not sort a column on a measure.
Also, you will not be able to use a dynamic measure or slicer value in a calculated column.
can you please provide the need
@amitchandak I am working on a project of tableau to power bi migration. Tableau has default feature of sorting by measure. Is there any way this can be replicated in power bi ?
@aniket_kumbhar , You can sort a visual on measure and columns. Using 3 dots. There is sort column and order option
But if you want to mark measure a sort column for a measure that is not possible.
Are you looking for information on the sort column?
