Hi,
I have a table like this one:
Country | Date | revenue |
DE | 02.03.2020 | 10 |
ES | 04.05.2019 | 20 |
IT | 05.03.2019 | 30 |
DE | 07.06.2019 | 40 |
ES | 02.08.2020 | 50 |
IT | 11.07.2019 | 60 |
DE | 05.09.2020 | 70 |
ES | 14.08.2019 | 80 |
IT | 09.10.2020 | 90 |
DE | 17.09.2019 | 100 |
ES | 12.11.2020 | 110 |
IT | 21.10.2019 | 120 |
DE | 16.12.2020 | 130 |
ES | 11.02.2022 | 140 |
IT | 19.01.2021 | 150 |
and I want to have a slicer, that sums up the revenue while I also slice the date column.
Meaning let's say I select 2019 the revenue slicer should go from 100 (fro ES) to 210 (for IT).
Is that possible?
Hi @mikro87 ,
Add the date to the slicer and show the year level. Then we can get it.
Thanks for the sample data.
I copied it into a power bi file and then put it into a table.
I added a calculated column for the year of each row
Then I was able to use the year column to populate one slicer
Then I created a slicer on the revenue column
when you select a year in the year slicer, it changes the options in the revenue slicer, since both slicers are based on the same table.
Is this what you wanted ?
These days, i prefer Slow BI

@mikro87 , What do mean by slicer sum up value. You can use visuals, to sum up the values. And you use date from this table or create a date calendar
To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :
