Hi all!
I have an Issue which should not be too special, but I couldn't find anything and it is quite difficult to explain briefly.
The szenario is such that I have different objects beeing reported and via row level security I constrain user's access to sometimes only one of the objects. When I save the report, I have a selection in the dropdown-slicer filtering for one of those object, and this selection is the default selection in the published report. But there is no selection which can be accessed by all users, so for some users, no matter what I select, they have a default selection in that slicer which is not accessible to them and they therefore get a) a value in the slicer which they don't recognize and b) a page full of (empty) signs as they have no access to the data displayed. I would like to avoid this as it is highly unprofessional.
My thought would then be, is there a possibility to have a "neutral" default selection of that slicer, such that when a user opens the report, the first accessible option is selected, or at least none is selected and the user needs to make one, but doesn't see a to him unknown and inaccessible selection.
Thank you for your help!
@Anonymous , As of now, we cannot use a measure or function to default the value of the slicer. So I doubt you can change default value based on selected user(user login)
so there is no way around people having a default selection of a to them inaccessbile object?
