Hello,
I have two datasources one at weekly and other at monthly.
Wanted to use a filter that is common in both the tables as selector that will drive both the tables.
Have tried sync slicers option as well as creating relationship with temporary table (with distinct values of field from both tables)
but is not working.
Will be really helpful if someone can guide me here.
Thanks

Hi @Anonymous
I create a new "Table", use it in a slicer, i create a measure to show selected value (monthly/weekly).
selection = SWITCH(SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[slicer]),"weekly",SUM('weekly table'[weekly value]),"monthly",SUM('monthly table'[monthly value]))
Best Regards
Maggie

Hi @Anonymous ,
remember that weeks and months are not congruent.
I would store the values on the first day of the week and the first day of the month.
The values can then be filtered using a common date table.
@Anonymous
This week and month are derived from the date. Then You can use the date table to have both week and Month.
