SSAS not Syncing with Power BI after Reprocess

Hi All,

I think there is something I'm not doing right Please Help

My Power BI is connected to SSAS Cube and the source of the cube is SQL Server.

Everytime i make changes (in regardless) on SQL Server and I refresh(Procecss All) SSAS cube the changes will reflect. but won't reflect on Power BI even when I press Refresh button.

Is this a known issue or there is something i am not doing.

PLEASE HELP.

I eventually find out what the problem was.

Process All in Visual Studio does not do full process.

So I loged into Anaysis Services via SQL Server and reprocessed the model but this time chose FULL PROCESS.

and that did the magic.

Hi @Sam-Onikosi ,

Could you please tell us which mode did you use to connect to the SSAS cube? Import mode or live connection?

Besides, please use SQL Server Profiler to get the trace of the refresh process, we can check what occurs during the refresh process.

Best Regards,

Teige

You can delete the old cube from SQL Anaysis server and deploy the same cube again on SSAS. Then disconnect the SSAS server from SQL and reconnect again.

Same check with Power BI desktop. You will get the update data on your field columns.
