I am asking this here as I have absolutely no clue where this could be happening.
I have recently made this report and published it, date format in DD/MM/YYYY (aka UK), and as I publish it in our workspace, it remains DD/MM/YYYY, once I embed the report into our platform for the client, initially the date remains DD/MM/YYYY, however, eventually, the date format changes to MM/DD/YYYY!
I have no clue as to why this is happening at all, the date data received is already in DD/MM/YYYY format, I do not edit it at any point in time AND my browser and laptop configurations are set in English UK, so dates would be in DD/MM/YYYY.
Anyone has a clue of how this may be happening?
@AmazingRandom
check whether you have automatic date and time setting turn on:
File > Options and settings > Options > Data Load > Time intelligence.
powerbi can adjust he date and time of report if your report is being used by peoople in different region.
it shouldn't be happening in service.
can you show your configuration like format anc source datatyep.
