I was looking for a solution to not to have to show CountA of OrganisationID and Count of OrganisationID
in the column header of my table.
So I researched a solution where I could add a measure , which are both below
Companies Updated = distinctCOUNT(Org_Research_Area_Modification[OrganisationID])
Total Updates = COUNT(Org_Research_Area_Modification[OrganisationID])
These work fine , except when I filter it now takes upto 7 seconds to filter .
When I used the COUNT and COUNTA , it was instant [less than a second]
I cant work out why this would be causing such a lag in performance

Thanks Amy , that resolved the speed issue
