Hi All,
Im trying to build a real-time data view of website traffic/conversions metrics and visualize it in PowerBI. The data source is Adobe Analytics, and i know we can connect to AA as a data source in powerbi but can't seem to find a way to configure Direct Query mode (streaming connection) from adobe analytics to for real-time automatic updates. Is it possible somehow in PowerBI Desktop or maybe in PowerBI Service?
Thanks
Shubham
Hi @Anonymous
AA doesn't support direct query mode. Not sure if you would like to give schedule refresh a try to solve your issue.
You can schedule it every half hour if you're on premium capacity.
Or you can try streaming live dataset option in service, not sure if it supports AA, but it worked on twitter for me.
Please go through the link below.

Hope, it solve your issue.
Let me know if any other questions.
Thanks,

Hi @AnkitKukreja, I'm on a PBI Pro account but not on premium capacity. I think my daily refresh limit is 8, am I correct?
Unfortunately this doesn't solve my issue if I'm looking for a real-time report using Adobe Analytics. Is there another solution?
Thanks

Hi @AnkitKukreja,
Thanks for your suggestion. Did you input your Twitter data API in the field below?
Hi @bo_afk
Yes. You can follow the video as well.

Hi @AnkitKukreja , thanks for the link. I did have a look but couldn't follow exactly.
Do you know how I would do this with AA? Do you have an example that you did using your Twitter data?
Thanks again!

Hi @bo_afk
I did that with the help of Postman, through API. I've got you another video focussed on AA.
Hope it helps

Hi @Anonymous, did you manage to find a solution to this?
afk
@Anonymous , I doubt that with standard connector.

Explore some partner connectors. Just reference. Please check all details carefully.

@Anonymous - I do not believe that the AA connector supports Direct Query. Direct Query support is per connector so some of them support it and some do not. Not aware of any way to get a streaming dataset from AA either.
