I have following problem and would be grateful for any advice where the bug could be:
I have a RLS activated based on the employee name(e-mail address.
When I look at the data (in Power BI desktop) I (as the admin) can see all the data including 2 datasets with date of 2023:
When I check thr RLS by using "show as role" of one user, I do not see anymore the 2 datasets of dated 2023. This is also what users report to me.
As I have no restriction in the RLS on the date, I do not understand why the RLS filters on the date. Does anyone has an advice what should be checked?
Thank you in advance!
Daniela

Hi @dkc ,
Based on your description, there is no such thing as an RLS not in effect. So is the date column the same table as the name column? Is filter or slicer being used to filter the data for 2024? Please check this and provide more details.
