R script updating new rows to existing table.

Hi,
I'm using query editor with r script and batchgetsymbols to download all SP500 stock prices. It’s workin ok, I have table for tickers and prices. I need help for planing the structure to light way updating database, like I already have on table of stock prices before 2020-03-31 how to update only data after this date? Can someone help and tell me which is to the best way to build this by query editor and r script. I want to update only new data to the price table witch already have over 2 million rows of existing stock prices. I want to keep it simple as possible, less is more 😉
Thanks.
