Hi Expert,
Good day!
I'd like to ask on my visuals showing the year on year comparison. When I did the impersonation of an admin role ( should have all the views), the terminated status on the last year won't show up in the view. Please note that I filter all active status. But even I tried to unfilter it's still the same. Here's the view:
First visual should be the desire view, 2nd visual is the actual while doing the view as role function
Hi Amitchandak,
Not so sure if this scenario will apply to my visuals. In the data source file we only have April 2019 & April 2020 ( time period ). We are counting the number of sales person who had this performance below:
LessThan Threshold
Threshold
Target
Excellence
We are comparing the result of 2020 verse 2019. We are not comparing the sales amount, it's by performance group
Their relationship is based on the employee ID and the column that is taken into consideration is the time period, performance group, country, region & geo.
So my concern is if I impersonate an admin that has all the access for WW, there are 90 individuals who are not part of the actual view and when I dig the cause, they are on terminated status. I am wondering because even if I unfilter to all status still the same so not the filter issue.
Here is the view of my data source
@Anonymous , you can try that with time intelligence and date table
MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD('Date'[Date]))
last year MTD (complete) Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(ENDOFMONTH(dateadd('Date'[Date],-12,MONTH))))
To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :
