Hello
I would like to do following task
1. My power bi desktop report has different pages. For every country one.
2. These pages have card-visuals
3. I would like to query every card-visual within this pages and set a value in another page
I.E.
The page "Belgium" has visual "Audio", "Video", "Sharing"
If one of the 3 visuals pass a threshold set the visual "Alarm" in the page "Overview" to the value "1"
Is it possible to define the threshold of every visual in an additional page?
-> i.e. the page "Thresholds" contain a visual "Threshold for Belgium" with the values that can not be surpassed for the visuals "Audio", "Video", "Sharing" in the mentioned page "Belgium".
Do you have an idea how to configure that?
Regards
Heinrich
Solved! Go to Solution.
you need to add these visuals to dashboards (by pinning them) before you can configure data alerts.
Hi Ibendlin
Thank you
Ok thank you for the hint
Hi
Thank you for your advise but I want to simplify my alerts by querying as said first all alerts
- If one of the 3 visuals pass a threshold set the visual "Alarm" in the page "Overview" to the value "1"
- then I would use power bi service for setting the alert.
Thank you
Heinrichxx
In case I wasn't clear - this functionality is not available. You can raise it as an idea.
Hello Ibendlin
Thank you but 1st steps needs to control a variable for the thresholds.
That means also on the power bi report one visual needs to refer to another.
i.e. Visual Thresholds watches at another visual and reacts if a condition is met
Have a great day
Juan
