Python scripts - prompt for credentials

I have a python script which connects to Salesforce (SF) to query data and create a dataframe.  This acts as one of my data sources.

In the query I have inserted my SF username, password and security token.  Is there a way to have the script prompt me for the password? and/or the security token?  This way, users who have access to the file will not see my password and will have to enter their own SF credentials (if needed)

Thanks

Neeran

Are you planning to share the report via the Power BI service? Or will every user have their own version of the .pbix (and potentially a personal gateway)?

We are plannong to share the report via Power BI dashboard.  I will also share the report with other colleagues and I don't want them to see my credentials.

Run the Python script in Power Query (not in a Python visual) and use Parameters for the credentials. If you don't specify the default values for the parameters your  colleagues will need to enter their own credentials when they access the data source.

I will modify the script with input parameters and let you know if it solves the problem.  Thank you
