the publish button doesn't appear on the home view. How do I manage to publish on the power bi server ?

This is strange, you should have that publish option in both normal Desktop and RS Desktop. Try reinstall the newest 64bit desktop version.

@Tocosta Are you using the RS version of the Desktop? I believe in that version you go to File and then Publish.
