I'm using Version: 2.124.2028.0 64-bit (December 2023)
I create a simple table with ISO 3166 3-character country codes:
Country | Value
AUS | 4
USA | 10
I plot the table on a map. The 3-character code for Australia, AUS, gets plotted at the same location as the code for the United States of America!
Hope this can be fixed soon.
Kind regards,
Moray.

Excellent, thank you!
Logged, and had a very quick response that confirmed the behavior. The given explanation is that AUS conflicts with Austin-Bergstrom Airport, Texas. Though this doesn't quite explain why the map point shows in Kansas even when the column's Data Category is set to Country. We hope to escalate it as a feature request.
Too funny. Reminds me of this one. Lighthouse and naval vessel urban legend - Wikipedia
