Hello there,
I've been struggling finding how I could filter one column (or marked the lines that I'm interested in) depending on lines' value
with Power Query.
First, some context :
I have a .xlsx file on which there are quotes we send to our client. Each quote has a number. Every time we change it because the client wants other things on the quote, that creates a new line with the same number but with another version.
Example :
First drawing : the number of the quote is 1234 and its version is 1. If there is a modification, I would have another line with the same number of quote (1234) but the version would be 2. And so on.
Here is an impression of the .pbix I linked with this publication :
My problem is that I don't care if the quote is in the version 1,2 or 3. What I simply want is to have the latest version of my quote i.e :
- If the latest version of the quote is 5, I don't want the versions 1,2,3 and 4
- If the latest version of the quote is 1, I want it ofc 🙂
I've been trying to find one way to mark the latest version of one quote but I don't know if I can do it with Power Query and which tools would help me acheive it.
Would you be so kind to help me with this please ? 🙂
Have a good day you all 🙂
Enzo

You can do a 'Group By' using 1st column and choose MAX for the version.
