Hi,
I have a problem with Power Query and Power BI Desktop. One of my tables (MS SQL view connected via 'Import') does not refresh after modification. I modified one row (two of its columns), clicking 'refresh preview' in Power Query and 'refresh' in data view in PBI Desktop, it sais "connecting" and "... rows loaded', but data remained unrefreshed. After trying several times and clearing the cache (Options -> Data load -> Clear cache) and refreshing again, one of the column has been updated, but the second still has old value.
Duplicating the query does not help. But creating it from scratch (copying only the first step with database parameters, and selecting the table (view) from list) does get the fresh data.
What can I try to get fresh data without exchanging the query in data model ?
TIA,
Ryszard.

Hi @rylach,
Based on my test, it could work on my side, I suggest you to check the version of Power BI Desktop(2.61.5192.601 64-bit (August 2018)) and you could also try to uncheck below option: Files->options->current file->Data Load->Auto Date-time to improve the performence.
Also, please try to deselect “Allow data preview to download in the background” option.
Besides, you could also refer to this link:Speed up the PowerBI and Power Query design process
