Power Pivot Dax Count Does Not Match Record Count

Hi all,

Using O365.

I imported 307K records from Power Platform which created a Pivot Table

I  used some formulas to tranform a bit in some blank cells  next to the Pivot Table, I imported the samll 2 column table into Power Pivot (Data Model)

I did some further analysis on other report and found that the 307K records was a bit small by 8K rec.

I found all 315K recs, update the 2 column Excel Table, refreshed the sheet in the Data Model

However, my CountRows Dax Formula still shows 307K rec. Why is that
The screenshot shows the 307K rec from the Dax formula as well as the 315K rec in the status bar from the Power Pivot Window.

It show the correct count now, maybe I am impatient?

Some cells in that column could have blanks.
