Good morning:
I`m using Power Bi Desktop (optimized for Power BI Report Server version January 2019) and I started to receive the infamous "redirector" error when trying to connect to SSAS cubes:
"AnalysisServices: A connection cannot be made to redirector. Ensure that 'SQL Browser' service is running."
I have to mention that: Excel is able to connect to the same SSAS datasources on the same workstation without any problem. I`ve already checked the SQL Browser settings on the workstation and everything is fine, specially after googling this issue, but I`m not able to find any solution for PowerBi Desktop.
Any idea on how to fix this issue data-friends?

Hi @RobMtl ,
Based on my research, the issue was caused by the Browser Service account was changed to the domain account. In your scenario, you can try to change the Browser Service account to "Local System". Here is a blog that describes the detail informatin about it error, please see:
