What are the best practices for reducing the size of a PBIX file ?

@Thanks for the reply from @Idrissshatila , please allow me to provide another insight: 

 

You can try the following:

  1. Reduce file size, you need to remove unneeded data, for example, please find and remove columns that contain a lot of text, Notes field is a big performance killer, will increase the pbix file size, then load fewer rows or remove unneeded columns
  2. Filter the query by date and other fields, there is no point in storing historical data for the last 5 years if only the last 3 months are visualized in the pbix.
  3. Disable the Auto Date/Time option for data loading (this will remove a bunch of automatically created date tables in the background).
  4. Disable Power Query query load.
