Hi people)
Need a help in BI.
I am going to do a portfolio migration analysis.
For example, I have got an excel input file with such structure:
Consideration date | Name | Receiving date | Amount (in origin will be a number) | Stage |
March 19 | Tome | February 19 | A11 | Stage 2 |
March 19 | Bob | March 19 | A21 | Stage 1 |
March 19 | Allen | March 19 | A81 | Stage 1 |
March 19 | Mike | March 19 | A31 | Stage 1 |
April 19 | Tome | February 19 | A12 | Stage 2 |
April 19 | Bob | March 19 | A22 | Stage 2 |
April 19 | Mike | March 19 | A32 | Stage 1 |
April 19 | Jim | April 19 | A41 | Stage 1 |
April 19 | Nike | April 19 | A51 | Stage 1 |
May 19 | Tome | February 19 | A13 | Stage 3 |
May 19 | Bob | March 19 | A23 | Stage 1 |
May 19 | Mike | March 19 | A33 | Stage 3 |
May 19 | Jim | April 19 | A42 | Stage 1 |
May 19 | Nike | April 19 | A52 | Stage 2 |
May 19 | Smith | May 19 | A61 | Stage 1 |
I need to have such BI matrix (Visual level filter: Receiving date - March 19):
Consideration date | March 19 | April 19 | May 19 |
Stage | Amount | ||
from Stage 1 | A21 + A81 + A31 | A22 + A81 + A32 | A33 |
to Stage 1 | A21 + A81 + A31 | A32 |
to Stage 2 |
| A22 |
to Stage 3 |
| A33 |
to Closed |
| A81 |
from Stage 2 |
| A23 |
to Stage 1 |
| A23 |
to Stage 2 |
to Stage 3 |
to Closed |
from Stage 3 |
to Stage 1 |
to Stage 2 |
to Stage 3 |
to Closed |

How can it be done in BI?)
Hi @MCstudio ,
I could not understand "Visual level filter: Receiving date - March 19", could you please explain more about how your data be added?
And I could not figure out how to create the 'to closed' row?
Regards,
Daniel He
Hi @v-danhe-msft ,
As you see, there are several Receiving dates, and if we don’t use Visual level filter (it may be either Page level filter) all Receiving date months will mixed, which we don’t need. I want to understand, in which Amount bucket is going certain Receiving date month by Consideration date month to Consideration date month.
What about Closed, I wrote it for explanation: I wanted to show, that Allen’s A81 Amount, which he received in February 19, didn’t attend in March 19. In place of Closed, row name can be blank.
