Hello
I am trying to use the poisson.dist function in Power BI desktop, however using it as a calculated gives an incorrect result and as a measure doesnt allow me to select the column for x value.
The formula should be (for row 1) poisson.dist(0,3.26,false), for row 2 poisson.dist(1,3.26,false) etc, however the "column" doesnt give the expected output and the measure wont let me use column FT TG as its not a measure but gives the right output if I put in x = 0 for the first row?
Any help will be hugely appreciated
Thanks in advance
Hi, @SarahESkells
You can try the following methods.
Measure = poisson.dist(SUM('Table'[FT TG]),SUM('Table'[All Teams]),FALSE())
Is this the result you expect?

Thank you for this, it doesn't like it because the All Teams is also a measure? Is there anyway around this?
Hi, @SarahESkells
Sample data:
Measure:
All Teams = CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[Teams]),ALL('Table'))
Measure = poisson.dist(SUM('Table'[FT TG]),[All Teams],FALSE())
Does this match your situation?
