Playing with 2 fact tables

I have 2 reports (fact tables) coming from 2 different softwares. Hardware sales and Service sales. The common value is Customer ID. I am not able to add relations between the 2 tables. Do I need a bridge table ? What do you suggest ?

You want a customer table that has all of the customers from both of the sales tables.  Then you can link that to your sales tables and do reporting on both types of sales by customer.  You will also want a calendar table so you can do date reporting.

This might be a good course to start with and it is free.
