Hi,
I have been busy to create a year to year table based on the quarter and the months.
I use the ISO week date system to get the correct weeks within each quarter. For example the first quarter of this year starts at 30 december 2019 and ends on 29 march 2020. The first 13 weeks in the year 2020.
But when I want to create a line chart with it I get the following data, for now I will show it in a table.
Q1 - 2019 | x | x | x | x | x |
Q1 - 2020 | x | x | x | x | x |
Month | January | February | March | April | December |
But what I want is the following:
Q1 - 2019 | x | x | x | x | x |
Q1 - 2020 | x | x | x | x | x |
Month | December | January | February | March | April |
I am using a "Mastersheet" (also a data set) in Power BI, so originally I ordered all the months based on their month number in the mastersheet. I still want to keep it like this way because i'm using this mastersheet also for creating other reports. And there I need to have the months ordered based on the month number.
I am using a calender table and have connected this with my data based on the date column. Sorry for my bad English, it is not my native language.

Thank you both for the reply.
I did managed to get it working, only then I used a column with month short year as "dec 2019, jan 2020" etc and ordered this column based on the column "month year order".
In case you have month year column MMMM-YYYY or MMM-YYYY, make sure you have sort column and you marked it as sort column
Month year sort = format(date[date],"YYYYMM")
