Hello Community !
We have a fact table which is filtered by Product and City. Because items in Products and Citys are very important, we can pre-filter them by Organization. The following graphic is operationnal, but it implies to enter the Organization twice, which is not very friendly. We would like to have just one organization’s segment and filter both products and Citys with it. Unfortunalty, we cannot build a relationship between the two organization, it twill generate an ambiguity. Do you have a smart solution ?
Due the data, the relationship must be in one direction only.
@emeric , One way is you make the organization as an independent table and use its value to filter the measures.
if you only need to filter the slicer values dim_product and dim_city then first try to see if organization can join directly with fact.
Create a measure in fact countrows(fact) and check that it not blank in visual level filter of slicers
