Hi ,
we need to connet to Azure Table storage and read few tables of data in power Bi Desktop.
Tables are containing large amount of data (each table had >5GB data).
1. is it possible to load data into PBI desktop and do grouping and aggrigations on top of the data ?
2.Is there any better alternatives instead of directly hitting ATS ?
Thanks in Advance .
Hi @Ramakrishna537,

Yee, you can load them to power bi desktop. (but it will cause some performance issue due to data amount)
For your scenario, I'd like to suggest you only use summary data to create visuals.

You can also try to use odata connector, but I don't think change connectors will increase the performance.
Add oData Paging to Azure Table Storage

Hi @Ramakrishna537,
To be honest, I also not familiar with these azure data sources.
If you want to know difference between these datasources, I'd like to suggest you post to azure forum for further support.
