Hello everyone, I have an table has 385 millions rows. Probably it would be greater. This table sit on Oracle database. Import is takes so long. What would you do? What is your suggest?
Hi @BirhanAYDS ,
Your data is too large to use Import mode. You need to use DirectQuery instead. DirectQuery connects to the data directly and its speed is much faster than Import mode.
You can refer to the following documents.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-connect-oracle-database
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-use-directquery
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-directquery-data-sources
