Hi all,
I can usually find answers to everything on the Google machine, but this has me stumped.
Purchase Orders can contain Line Types of Services, Materials, Items, or a mix of both Materials and Items.
I'm trying to display only the "both Materials and Items" option in my visual. This seems like an easy formula, but I can't visualize how to create it properly?
Table: POLINE
Column: LINETYPE
LINETYPE: SERVICE, MATERIAL, ITEM
Any help/pointers are appreciated.
Hi @bhold32078 ,
You could create a measure like the following codes.
Measure =
IF (
"Item" IN VALUES ( POLINE[LINETYPE] )
&& "MATERIAL" IN VALUES ( POLINE[LINETYPE] ),
1,
0
)
Then put it into filter pane of your table visual and make it showing 1.
Hi v-eachen-msft,
This formula includes purchase orders with either MATERIAL or ITEM ordered against them, which is a big list.
I'm looking for a filter that narrow it to purchase orders that have both MATERIALS and ITEMS ordered againsts a single purchase order, which should be a much smaller list.
I appreciate your help.
visual filter in filters pane?
I'm not sure I understand correct your needs
Sorry, I'd like to use the Visualizations "table" and create a formula to only display purchase orders that contain both a MATERIAL and an ITEM in its PO Lines.
