Hi everyone,
really basic question but the new functionality of row subtotals after the update drives me nuts. I just want to create grand total of the sales value field and a subtotal for the Team column. Couldn't sort it out...
--> I would expect no subtotals for Division based on the settings "apply settings to --> row level --> team"
Thanks for your support all!

Hi @steffenhahn ,
For this you need to have the subtotals turn off for the leader then you get the following result:
This is based on level so since Division is the the first level will be the grand total so need to be turn on, then team becuase you also want to see it and leader turn off.
If you don't want total values then you need to turn off division also:

According to your statement, I think you want to turn off subtotals in "Division" level from New Format Pane.
Firstly, find "Per row level" in "Row Subtotals" and turn it on. Then select "Division" level in Series and turn off "Show subtotal" below in "Row".
Result is as below.

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsThank you! Now I understood how the row fields can be selected and unselected to control subtotals! Really not intuitive UX design from Microsoft, in my opinion! Thank you very much!
@steffenhahn If I understood what you want so you need to apply the subtotal only to the division series and not dot the others + grand total.
Yes correct!
